Ty Baird is a Florida-based photographer and licensed drone pilot with a background in elite competitive sailing and high-performance environments.
I’m a two-time College National Champion, Melges 32 World Champion, and former professional sailor, racing J/70s, Melges 24s, and IC37s before transitioning into media in 2020. After moving into sailing, real estate photography and aerial cinematography, I joined American Magic for the 37th America’s Cup (2022–2024), working across media, photography, videography, drone operations, and performance analytics and reconnaissance.
Today, I specialize in performance sailing & marine media, weddings, real estate and construction, and product photography, delivering precise, impactful visuals from air to ground.
