Ty Baird was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, where sailing was more than a sport—it was a way of life. He grew up competing at the Olympic development level and has been closely involved in multiple America’s Cup campaigns, both as an athlete and a family member to top-tier competitors. His experience on and off the water gives him a unique perspective few in the media world can offer.
After traveling and working throughout Europe, Ty shifted his focus to media, bringing elite-level sailing knowledge into his visual storytelling. He specializes in drone and video work that captures the energy and precision of high-performance sailing.
