Meet The Creator:

Ty Baird started Ty Baird Media in 2020, combining his sailing knowledge with his love of capturing moments to help elevate the sport. Before picking up a camera, Ty raced professionally, he was a nationally ranked college and laser sailor who became a two-time College National Champion and Melges 32 World Champion.

That competitive background gave him a rare eye behind the lens. Ty worked with American Magic during the 37th America's Cup, covering drone, video, and photo, with Ty Baird Media handling onboard and aerial media paired with boat data for performance review. He also supported marketing efforts alongside brands like Helly Hansen, and several of his images have been printed or recreated as art paintings.

Today, Ty works with Bella Mente and America One Racing on storytelling and performance improvement, bringing his racing instinct to every shoot. Ty works with anything from Olympic Classes to Maxi 72s.
