Ty Baird was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, where sailing was more than a sport—it was a way of life. He grew up competing at the Olympic development level and has been closely involved in multiple America’s Cup campaigns, both as a drone pilot/photographer and a family member to a two time winner. His experience on and off the water gives him a unique perspective few in the sailing media world can offer.
Ty brings elite-level sailing knowledge into his visual storytelling. He specializes in drone and video work that captures the energy and precision of high performance sailing from an insiders prospective. His content is fast, clean, and intentional—built by someone who truly understands the sport.
